it has been an eventful week! i haven't been blogging often, i know. there isn't much news about TVXQ recently.
anyway, i went to USS last friday.

and i also went to see song joong ki's fansign event for tony moly at bugis junction. i wish i could say it was a coincidence, but no, it wasn't.

i just wanted to see what such an event was like, that's all.

i can't believe i have to force myself to update my blog.
ok i'll just get to the point. not that i have any readers anyway.
prom was actually... kind of fun.
i expected it to suck but it didn't! the food wasn't that great but that's not a problem since i didn't get the chance to eat much anyway. the service was...good and the emcee was hilarious.
all the girls were gorgeous, the guys were absolutely handsome. mmhm. ;)
i couldn't even recognise my friends!
the only thing that put me off was that the dancing at the end was too wild for me. the music was deafening and my heels were giving me HELL.
heck, i swear i walked like a drunkard.

the prom wasn't the only fun thing.
the preparation was also fun, although tedious.
june lee came over to my place to play for a while before we started on our own makeup.
and i was makeup illerate, so i made myself look like a sunburnt hooker.
then, vivian was supposed to come to my place so we could hitch a ride from my dad to the hotel. i didn't want to trouble my dad so i asked her to come over. but as expected, vivian is THE queen of tardiness. :D
no prizes for guessing what happened.
she was late! :)
then we had to head to lot one to pick her up. well, i'm not annoyed or anything.
just thought that my dad shouldn't have to go through so much trouble.
anyhow, it was great fun.

i don't ever want to go through it again.
for some strange reason, i don't feel the least bit upset that i'm leaving cckss.
they say that we will miss secondary school life the most. but i have to disagree.
nothing made me feel like i should miss my secondary school life.
it's just one big cloud of teenage emo to me.
perhaps it's because i don't have many friends.
but well, i'm screwed. it's no wonder.

all i can say is, at long last, i'm out of this hellhole.
i won't miss my friends because i'll still keep in contact with them.
so technically speaking, there's nothing worth reminiscing.

ok the campfire was ok. i appreciate the juniors inviting us back.
i appreciate the effort put into the presents and the food and everything else.
but i have to say i didn't enjoy myself.

from the title of this post, you can probably tell i'll be gushing.
LOL i made a trip to CD rama just now after lessons and bought THE BEGINNING OMGASDFGHFJGK
I CANNOT BELIEVE I BOUGHT IT.
srsly. i'm so excited, i haven't even changed out of my uniform, i'm serious.

i finally supported them in my way. i promised to buy this album, and a promise is a promise, right? :D
i'm kinda still "nursing the pain" from not being able to go to their showcase, which i read was absolutely awesome.

the wound is now opening up again. LOL. but it's ok, cos i have reason to remain optimistic that they'll come for a CONCERT (hell...i'm already excited) next year and i'm definitely going to go.
and now, i can wake up to this:

i wouldn't say it's complete, but it's good enough. just hate the fact that i can't see junsu's whole face.

haven't listened to any song yet. i'm going to wait till i'm all settled down, then i'll sit down and play the disc on maximum volume and piss all my neighbours off. LOL.

the newspapers wrote a few articles about them and their gig on saturday. to be completely honest, i didn't like the tone of the article very much. it's in chinese, so i might have not understood some parts completely since my chinese sucks.

they said the press wasn't exactly very pleased with JYJ cos they were not allowed to answer many questions due to "press control" or something like that. and micky (my chun~), who understands english, apologised for it.

and don't press them so much, i'm sure they have their reasons for not being able to answer the questions. i'm glad to see that they had fun in singapore, and at least now there's something for me to look forward to next year, because this october has been a helluva shitty one. i'm serious.

celebrated my birthday at melt restaurant on saturday (the showcase day) and to be honest, it wasn't that bad. i was like, "OMG MOM THE CONCERT HAS JUST BEGUN!" at like, 8pm...and i smsed most of my friends (LOL) saying that they showcase has started.

i saw some mediacorp artistes while having dinner, but it's not that much of a big deal...

my sister didn't have to go to school today so she celebrated childrens' day at someone's place this afternoon while i was doing physics practice questions. wtf where is the justice.

anyway, because i think i'm still a child and i want to celebrate childrens' day like any other kid in singapore, i have to say that this is the WORST childrens' day in my whole 16 years of life.

first, we graduated today. which means i am old now and my youth is coming to an end! also, my secondary school life is coming to an end, and i DO NOT WANT to say goodbye. ):

second, we have teachers that are bitches from hell. especially guiders. i'm sorry, but it's true.

third, i cannot go to JYJ showcase.

and i have to put up this facade for everyone cos they expect me to be something else and i really don't wish to care anymore.

well, the bright thing is, at least i had fun today. :)

i don't know why we guides who put in our life and soul into the cca didn't get a service award.

not even an appreciation when some slackers from other ccas can get the award.

what have i not given guides? i have given guides my blood, my tears, my sweat, my time, my effort, my credibility, my health and my life.

i don't know why i even slogged my guts out for guides and you teachers for the past 2 years of my life. don't i deserve anything?

i'm not desperate for it or anything. i'm just angry that you don't appreciate all that we've done. in actual fact, we've done more than rani's batch because we took over from them in sec 2 and worked our asses off until sec 4. they only did sec 3 to sec 4. just because they do what you teachers want and tell you what you want to hear, you like them better.

i'm sorry but our batch will tell you guys how we feel. and if you don't like it, too bad, because the truth always hurts.

and even if you guys want to blame us for failing the leadership criteria, then please go fuck yourselves because the service award is about contributions and i believe i deserve acknowledgement for all i've contributed, no?

we only began to slacken down in sec 4 because we had enough. and when we have to move on, we have to move on. period. you cannot expect us to chain ourselves to the cca. at the end of the day, it's each man for himself. why wouldn't we want to spend more time on our studies? we want to do well, don't we?

and don't give me all that fucking nonsense about you seeing us still playing with our friends.

if you do want to make them care, then please make them feel like they want to do it. make them feel wanted and useful and i'm sure they'll do whatever you want. instead of asking us to sell our souls to guides, please put yourself in our shoes. you are as childish as us. so don't bother saying anything.

all the saturdays i burnt into marching for ndp, all the injuries i gained from marching, outdoor cooking, ndp, doing shit jobs for the school...

all the blood i lost for guides when i helped to cut firewood for npcc campfire (i'll get to that)

all the blood i lost for helping out in rough jobs that the school made us do.

all the time i put in to preparing powerpoint slides, proposals and activities for the girls...i didn't even finish my homework sometimes and i even lost sleep.

getting scolded by my parents because i used to love guides so much.

everytime i had a guides event on a saturday, i'll quarrel with my parents. you don't know that don't you?

and all the tears i shed because our cca was being ill treated, or looked down upon, or because our girls don't listen and respect us, and sometimes they don't live up to our expectations

i fell sick at PLTC, and ran a high fever and almost fainted, so that i could learn things that would be useful for helping our cca unit.

so many things we did. don't you remember?

we even helped other guides clean up their asses. even yours.

we had so much to deal with. stress from seniors, shit from juniors. but didnt we handle them well?

Japanese Activities

The TVXQ trio, Micky Yoochun, Xiah Junsu and
YoungWoong Jaejoong, released the following official statement regarding Avex's
decision to halt the group's activities in Japan.

1) The head of C-JeS (JYJ's korean management company)
has no ties to gangs whatsoever.

Though his previous conviction is true,
it was not a verdict made regarding any ties with gangs. Avex was fully aware of
this fact before their contract with the TVXQ trio was signed, and as this
cannot be classified as a breach of the exclusive contract, it cannot become a
reason to halt activities or cancel the contract.

Several months ago,
Avex requested that C-JeS be excluded from the contract for such reasons, and
the TVXQ trio agreed to such a request and actively participated in the
discussions regarding the renewal of their contract with Avex in order to ensure
that they would have smooth activities within Japan.

However, Avex put
forth conditions that were unfair to the trio unlike their previous contract,
and when the trio refused to accept such conditions, Avex stated the gang ties
of the head of C-JeS as a reason for canceling the contract, and finally
released an official notice stating that no more activities would occur.

While these details were being discussed, the TVXQ trio continued to
diligently carry out all scheduled activities to keep their promise with their
fans and worked hard to come to an agreement with Avex. (so what wrong exactly did my boys do that Avex had to strike them off?)

2) The victims
of this situation are the TVXQ trio. Avex attempted to coerce the trio to comply
to changes in the contract, but when the trio refused to agree to such
conditions, Avex announced a halt in their activities with no regard to the
trio's opinions.

Since the signing of the contract with the trio till
now, Avex has involved the TVXQ trio in various activities aimed at raising the
agency's income such as concerts, Xiah Junsu's solo album, participation in
another Avex singer's music video, and the recent 'The...' album.

However, Avex has been putting forth unfair conditions (why are they always overworked wherever they go?) to the TVXQ trio,
contrary to what had been done in the past, for the past several months by using
the past conviction of the head of C-JeS as a pretext, and when these conditions
were rejected, Avex began discussions on canceling their contract and announced
a halt in activities in order to corner the TVXQ trio.

This can be seen
as Avex taking all the money that they can from the TVXQ trio and then
proceeding to create a situation that makes it impossible for the trio to sign
on with any other agency in Japan, thus blocking the trio's path with regards to
Japanese activities. The TVXQ trio had no intentions of stopping their
activities in Japan, and the announcement made by Avex reflected only the
thoughts of the agency themselves. (i'm practically in tears. fuck you, avex. after all that they've done for you, this is what they get)

3) Avex has made an illogical
statement that the contract between Avex and SM Entertainment regarding the five
members of TVXQ is still valid though they would suspend Micky Yoochun, Xiah
Junsu and YoungWoong Jaejoong's contract.

Regarding this, Micky Yoochun,
Xiah Junsu and YoungWoong Jaejoong stated that, "First of all, we are extremely
sorry to have to bring our fans such news. Though we actively participated in
discussions with Avex in order to come to an agreement, it is regrettable that
an announcement to halt our activities in Japan had to be made. Due to this
situation, we can't shake the feeling that Avex used the three of us as money
making tools rather than treating us like artistes." They also stated, "We feel
frustrated that we cannot promise our Japanese fans another meeting in the near
future. We need active support and interest from our fans in order to resolve
this situation. We hope to resume our activities in Japan and meet our fans
again as soon as possible."

Lawyer Lim Sang Hyuk of Sejong, the legal
representative of the TVXQ trio, stated, "It is immoral to back the TVXQ trio,
some of Korea's most representative Hallyu stars, into a corner just because
they cannot fulfill a company's greed. We will work hard to resolve this
situation and allow the TVXQ trio to resume their activities in Japan."

and their comeback in music industry in mid-October is finally official. It’s
been 1 year and 2 months since their lawsuit problem with label SM
Entertainment. Currently the matter of TVXQ trio is going to have comeback under
cooperation with Warner Music Korea has reached final decision.

specific showcase schedule is being coordinated, also plan to do tour to 10

TEACHERS' DAY CELEBRATIONS

ok i completely forgotten to post about the teachers' day concert. :)
teachers' day is tomorrow, so we all get a holiday. :D
phew.
the concert was fine, but some dances were just...wrong.
i'm sorry but i was really traumatised by the smooth criminal dance.
plus the sound system really does not do the performances justice.
i hate the school hall and everything in it.

i'd just like to wish all teachers a happy teachers' day. :) i do appreciate what you guys do for me, but i'm not the kind to bribe you with gifts. your hard work will pay off... hopefully. ^^

we had form teacher period for about an hour, so we played "treasure hunt" with mr lau. he was supposed to find the present we prepared for him. we made him guess things, like "who's faster than the speed of sound?" and "i am one of your dark horses" and etc.
and the clues given were: ELCB (earth leakage circuit breaker) because the ultimate clue was in the stupid electrical box behind the board.
it was really fun, and the idea was good. it's a good way to spend our last teachers' day in cckss. :)
the video was also good.
i think i'm going to miss all this quite a lot once we graduate.

well, we gotta move on, just like our JYJ and HOMIN.

this year's party was one of the grandest. is it because there're YOG guests?
i still find it hard to believe that singapore is the same age as my dad.
i just watched the national day parade on tv and i have to admit, it is times like this when i feel DAMN proud to be singaporean. ^^
i spotted some familiar faces. like Albert Chen, Eunice Gue, Nicholas Ong, the Red Cross boy, the NCC Boy, WEIWEN(!!#$%$).
and i also got reminded of how to identify the army guys by the lines on their pants. :D

and watching the parade reminds me of my HELL at the parade last year.
i still remember taking the train to bishan at 7.30 in the morning every saturday, carrying nothing except my farecard, my phone and $5. oh, and a BIG fat ugly water bottle with my name on it.
i still remember my hands getting bruised all the time because of some bitch who doesn't know how to swing her hands right. and i also remember stepping on the shoes of the girl marching in front of me, and getting scolded all the time.
and how can i forget the goodies, the hotties and the friends? OH and the food is another story.

wore red for national day celebrations. :D first time i'm not wearing the guides uniform to school on national day celebrations.

the sole reason why i was even in school today was to see the parade, which i've never got to see in the past 3 years of my secondary school life. the parade was fine, i thought. i never knew school parades were like that. even though i wasn't in the parade, when i heard the band playing the march tune, i swear i felt really nervous.

i kinda miss it, but at the same time, i don't.

and after sitting through a gruelling 3 hours of "celebration", i have come to a conclusion.

BEING IN THE PARADE ITSELF IS SO MUCH MORE FUN THAN WATCHING FROM THE CORRIDORS. but thankfully i wasn't in this year. the guest of honour was LATE.

and cckss idol... it's a pain to watch. i'm sorry, but it's true.

at least now i get a feel of what the celebrations are like. :)

went to JP (again) to watch inception. BUT! as we all know, inception and i have a weird relationship. SIGH.

we were supposed to take the train to boon lay, but we took the wrong one due to vivian's (fine, and mine) terrible sense of direction. ended up in clementi. T.T

and wth JP is SO HUGE. vivian, siyun, qinyuan and i spent an hour trying to decide what to have for lunch. and siyun walked until her legs became sore. LOL mine too.

i wonder if it's because we have really old muscles, or if it's because we don't exercise much. i'd like to think it's the latter.

in the end, we decided to eat burger king, and then we took another century to decide what meal to have.

the movie was rather interesting, actually. it didn't disappoint. we all thought it would be kinda boring, but it wasn't. vivian kept on rambling on and on about how cute Dave was.

i can feel the pain from his voice. and even though he tries to smile, it doesn't reach his eyes. i really don't know what i can say after this and i'm just so tempted to go up and hug him. i'd rather he cried on stage. it's heartbreaking to see him keep it all inside and force a smile. come on, joong. we're cassiopeia. we'll cry with you.

joongie's on a vacation while working in canada. and i feel really happy for him! :) he needs to relax! is it cold there, sweetheart?

i feel kinda silly to be a fan of tvxq. i mean, it's not like they don't exist anymore, because in my eyes, they still do.
just like everyone's moving on and i'm kinda stuck in the past. it's been a year. that's 365 days, mind you.

vivian keeps having new videos of suju to watch. while the videos i'm watching of dbsk gets older and older. i even saw yunho's ultrasound scan on some perv fan's video, wtf.

i'm sure, even if i stopped liking them (i'm pretty sure that day will come), tvxq would definitely still have a place in my heart as the BEST BOYBAND IN HISTORY, hands down.

first off, i have to thank vivian for lending me her mirotic CD for the weekends. :D
i couldn't stop being excited whenever i saw it lying on my table. i even played it over and over in the living room, with the volume cranked up to...er...quite high. and i'm sorry to say, boys, but your chinese version of MIROTIC is HILARIOUS.
oopsies, sorry hubby, don't look at me like that...
but i thought it was thai or something in the beginning. :D sigh.
i'm starting to run out of dbsk videos to watch. it's so sad that they're obviously not going to reunite but i'm deceiving myself by watching all their old shows. seeing them in the same frame together really perks me up when i need it. i'm exaggerating, i know.
JYJ's even set to come up with an album. HOMIN's doing their own stuff. what with yunho modelling and being in the new goong, and changminnie in paradise ranch. it's already more or less fixed that they will be staying this way.
but a girl can dream right? :) i'm still hopeful.
i wanna be able to wear red and scream with 800000 over people and see them perform on the same stage before i die.
